Installed two new smoke detectors, and provided guidance on new wiring for a third. Scheduling was easy, prices were very reasonable (or seem so to me!), and the technician was extremely personable and professional.

Repaired a chandoler light switch that was not working. Repairman called prior to arrival. He arrived in the estimated time that was given to us. He was immediately able to diagnose the problem and correct it. He was friendly and personable. Would definitely use this company again.

We had all the switches and outlets on one circuit go out, but there was no breaker tripped. Technician did a great job of tracing the problem. The previous homeowner apparently replaced 15 amp breakers with 20 amps so they wouldn't trip as easily. The electrician explained how dangerous that is and we will be replacing those breakers soon. As an example, the outage occurred when a short in the wall burned out the outlet. We are very lucky it didn't start a fire. All that, and yet it was a relatively easy fix. Installed two ceiling light fixtures -- one flush mounted, one drum pendant -- in two rooms where there were no fixtures. I had a question about the code requirement for one of the two fixtures. I emailed through Angie's List and received a prompt reply and the information I needed to be sure I purchased a lighting fixture with the correct specifications. Installed two identical double pole line voltage digital programmable thermostats for two separate electric baseboard units in the extensions of my house. Service was very good quality. I did all the research and bought the stats beforehand so all the technician had to do was install (didn't want to pay for him to figure out what kind of stat I needed, hope he had two of them in his truck or worse, pay for him to drive to the hardware store to buy two stats I didn't even have the chance to evaluate myself).
