RecommendedI am so happy! All my friends had the most difficult time getting their CFI done. And costed a lot more than initial quote. Not me! 3 weeks I was done, and within the price quote from them. Lesson plans were provided. I used their on campus housing, which was not a 5-star hotel, but it was exactly what they said it would be. I love the fact that it was on the airport, and had a kitchen so I could cook. 1st time pass. Highly recommended.

The training is thorough and intense but in a calm environment that promotes learning. If you want to come to CFI Academy you have to come prepared, CFI exams complete and have at least read through the Fundamentals of Instruction, Airplane Flying Handbook, and the Pilot’s Handbook Of Aeronautical Knowledge once. Expect 5-8 hours a day of instruction and minimum 4 hours a day of individual studying, maybe more depending on your understanding of the knowledge. I personally studied 4-8 hours a night. CFI Academy gave me the best case scenario as far as what they advertise and what they deliver. I came there, took and passed my oral two weeks to the day that I started, and would have been able to do the flight if the weather was better. Two weeks and two days since the day that I arrived at CFi academy I left there not only with my CFI but a great understanding of the basics of instructing. CFI Academy is one of the very few flight schools in the country focused solely on producing Certificated Flight Instructors. The owner/principle instructor (Prince) provides the mentoring, oversight, equipment, and FAA examiner scheduling in a small group setting (3-8 students per class). I was struggling to find a school where I could do an intensive CFI course. CFI Academy is both affordable and flexible and allowed me to work intensively on my own schedule and I successfully passed my CFI checkride. You will be expected to study on your own and I highly recommend taking both of the written exams prior to attending the course so that you can focus on learning how to teach and practicing the skills as you learn them.
