The same information was requested too many times. I feel that the people involved weren't on the same page.
More clarity on requested documents, there were documents requested multiple times, we would upload the same document thinking we had sufficed the ask, but would have to call in regarding why our document wasn’t being accepted.
Second loan with Penney Mac. Reliable. Our FICO IS 8. They could have acted more impressed. Gave us a hooray, wow or something. 😄

Initial communication with PennyMac was great (the first 14 days or so). After that the only communication was from the portal requesting documents. If I were not technology literate I would not have been able to upload and work through that process alone. In the final days leading up to closing it was a challenge to communicate with the PennyMac team. We did not get everything approved until 45 minutes prior to our closing time. The loan person did not communicate that they were changing the person of contact to the title company nor the real estate agent so neither of them could get in contact with the agent days before the closing. Very unacceptable and delayed the process multiple days.
