I thought that Champion was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They did a great job designing my room and I am very satisfied with it.
This project was a disaster from the start
The windows were initially measured wrong and built too big and had to be measured again and built again. The contract was signed in Sept and still aren't finished. One of them was cracked when it was installed in Feb and still waiting on it's replacement in May. Two windows that were arched couldn't be built and another window couldn't be built that was just a square window. The total process is probably going to take 9 months.
We were promised the window installed in our game room would match exactly with the existing window. IT DID NOT, but was installed without being checked by the installers or the supervisor. WE HAD TO PURCHASE another to get a matching pair. Even though the sales representative assured us initially they would match, the company did not back her guarantee. They have terrible customer service and do not return calls...that is, if you can even find a phone number to talk to a real person at the company. They do not follow through on delivery dates or promises. HOrRIBLE experience with this company!!!
The whole goal of changing our patio door was to expand the opening to enjoy the backyard view, upgrade energy efficiency and increase security through the locking mechanism. We thought we were sold what we wanted but found out at installation that the patio door was not as expected. It wasn't the installation crew's fault as they were installing what was provided to them.
Champion has terrible customer service and communication.
I'm still hoping to resolve my issues with the scheduling inconvenience. Loss of time and wages.
