My wife and I have loved Charbono's since we found it a year ago, hiding next door to Kroger in Avon. You can easily travel down route 36 in Avon and never see this gem. The food is absolutely outstanding. We have never had a bad experience there. The staff is top notch, and I believe a manager has always stopped at our table to ask about our experience. WHEN I OR WE GO OUT TO DINNER, AND THAT IS QUITE OFTEN..........WE MEET WITH FRIENDS SOMETIMES 1 OR 2 OR MORE COUPLES, WE GO TO PLACES WHERE WE DON'THAVE TO LISTEN TO OR LOOK AT KIDS SCREAMING AND RUNNING AROUND. I DON'T HAVE KIDS, AND THAT IS ON PURPOSE. I DON'T CARE TO GO SOME PLACE, ORDER A DRINK AND EXPECT A GREAT DINNER AND THEN HEAR SCREAMING KIDS AND HAVE THEM DISRUPTING CONVERSATIONS OR DINNER. As always very good food, and we had a great time. They need to work on the desert menu. Very disappointing when all the other food is excellent.
Celebrated a Valentine's dinner a second year in a row at Charbonos. My sweetie and I sat at our 'usual' table and were waited on by Wendy - our favorite and very competent waitress. The bartender also remembered us and served up wonder cocktails. The food was outstanding and delicious!!!
We are from out of town. This was recommended to us and we loved it. Loved it so much I yelped about it. Sam our sever was lovely as was Alyssa the hostess. Just a terrific experience all around for everyone.

This is not a place to have a fast lunch. Service is slow but still attentive. Food is fabulous.
Chef's special: 6 oz Filet w/bearnaise, asparagus spears and mac&cheese with crab meat was OUTSTANDING. Filet was perfectly prepared!
Upon entering the establishment, our reservation was ready and did not have to wait more than 15 minutes for our table. We had originally stated we wanted the bar and was going to be placed in the dining area with children. After a few changes, the staff were able to place us where we requested. The area was noisy, but that is to be expected in the area we selected.
