The food was excellent and plentiful.
We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and it is one of our favorites. Unfortunately our Friday night visit was a disappointment. The food is usually very good, the atmosphere calm and relaxing. It was very busy, they were understaffed for the crowd and the food was not up their usual standards, although it was still better than many restaurants on a good night. Imagine that Charbonos can take the most ordinary sandwich, chicken or a BLT and elevate it to a delicious one! That's what they do!
Great Food with large portions. I saved half to bring home for lunch. Don't forget to use the dipping oil with the bread. I have even used it as a salad dressing because it was so wonderful!!!!
We've eaten at Carbonos several times and keep coming back because of the good food and excellent service. Staff is caring and follow ups during and after eating. Enjoy Melissa as a waitress particularly who gives us positive, honest answers to our questions about the menu. Never fails. The Chicken Velvet soup is a staple and always a hit anytime of the year. The noise level is fine for 2-4 of us, but with seven and all over 65 it is difficult on those with hearing aids especially. Still worth the good tastes however.
My family went there for their Mother's Day brunch and it was outstanding! The food was great, many different things on the buffett. They even had a kids area with mac n' cheese, chicken fingers, etc.
We love Charbono's. We always receive EXCELLENT service and the food is exceptional. The brownie dessert is heavenly!
Excellent Service and great ambiance. However, if you have trouble hearing, the accoustics in the restaurant are not for you. For some reason, it's hard to carry on a quiet conversation with your other half. Food is very good and the service was outstanding. Nice place for a special occassion. The bread and dipping sauce are to die for, in our opinion; the rest of the menu is good, but not exceptional.
We were greeted by a very friendly, courtiouss host and hostess. Our waitress was also efficient and friendly even under, what I thought, must have been a very stressful work situation.......It was as though they were blindsided by the business they had for brunch on Easter morning. Tables had been pushed very close together making any 'aisle' maneurvers tricky; food, although restocked quickly, was always low. They had a hard time handling the crowd but overall they did a nice job keeping their nose above the water.
