After returning to this area after a few years away, we decided on Charbono's to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. We had five in our party and Brittney took exceptionally good care of us during our visit. She was everything you want of a server: Knowledgeable about the menu and any specials, very courteous and friendly without being too friendly, and had a quick wit about her. Hostess was very slow to seat in spite of it not being very busy. Waitress did a nice job but food was very slow to come out. Lasagna was pretty greasy. Bread was very good. We had put in our reservation that we were there for a special occassion but it was not recognized by the staff.
Charbonos has been our favorite restaurant for many years. Highly recommend
Appetizers (artichoke dip) was delicious and the house salad fresh. Snapper (fish) was a bit over-cooked but tasty overall. Pasta ( with crab meat) was very tasty. Service was excellent and fast. Highly recommend Charbonos.
It’s sad to see how Charbono’s has changed. The service isn’t as good as it once was, and they eliminated the 1/2 price drink specials on Wednesdays. The food quality is still good. I will miss seeing friends there on Wednesday nights who were also big on the 1/2 price drink specials. We will still visit on other occasions provided we do not have any additional instances of poor service.
The beginning service was slow. However, the food came out quickly and was extremely good. Dry good flavor and good quantity!
My food was cold, my husband enjoyed his food. I sent back the risotto but it came back lukewarm. I didn’t eat it. We had calamari which was delicious.
