We are huge Cunningham fans and frequent their restaurants often… Charbonos is our home base since we live on the west side and we normally celebrate most big milestones there. From our wedding night, birth of our kids, and graduations, to date nights, birthdays, and everything in between. Unfortunately, our last few meals here have been mediocre. We even got turned away for lunch (despite having a reservation) a few visits ago? I’m not sure if it’s because they are short staffed? Or because the quality of food is harder to ... read more
Great service but food was slow to arrive. We arrived five minutes early and although the restaurant was maybe 30% full we had to wait until 5:30 for our reservation.
Neighborhood eatery. Menu was good with wide range of selections. Americana items in the Midwest tradition. Service was prompt and friendly, with frequent check-ins to see if we needed anything.
