We ate there last month and it was great this month was not very good. Something was off. The service was very poor. We waited a long time for anyone to even come to the table. When they finally came we ordered drinks and also our meal. 15 minutes later our drinks never came nor bread on the table. Our experience was a mixed bag. The food was very good and the bar selection excellent. However, there was one huge issue that brought down our overall experience. When our water was being poured, we all noticed large black floaters in the glasses. I immediately switched to Pelligrino to be safe, but the rest of the party got new waters. Later, I ordered a whiskey with a large ice cube. Once again, large black floaters were in the drink. The French onion soup was cold the cheese on top wasn’t even melted steak had No flavor
Not happy with this place. They served me a NY strip steak that was boiled. You take a frozen steak and try to steam it to cook faster. That is terrible.

Apps were good. Main course was awful. We both had steaks (she had filet, I had strip). Both were cooked incorrectly and meat was extremely tough…like it was a low quality cut. Service was excellent. Will not go back…they try too hard to present themselves as a high-end restaurant, but have missed the mark.
Extremely hot and stuffy NO AIR, they sat the 4 of us at the smallest table they gave us the wrong appetizers and wouldn’t sit us until the whole party was there. Disappointing since the reviews I saw stated really good quality food and experience. We left and went to eat at chickie and Pete’s which was 1000% better than gastro pub.
We made a reservation a week ago for a table of 6 by the window for my sisters birthday and when we arrived they told us that they couldn’t accommodate us because they had larger parties now they offered us a table outside but wouldn’t stick to our original plan. After much arguing, CC put two tables on top together (not so comfortable) we were displeased and probably wouldn’t go back again or recommend it our waitress was the best though and it’s sad that we won’t return because the food is amazing
We’ve been here before and always had a nice time. This time around, the managers and staff all looked frazzled. They’ve added a ton of new tables, and the waitstaff were running from one end of the room to the other. Barely could get our waiters attention. Trying to accommodate a large group next to us, managers were dragging chairs and moving tables and was very loud and annoying. It really took away from the ambiance. We just wanted to get out of there ASAP!
Started off strong but quickly declined the farther we got in to our meal. I ordered the 12oz 28 day aged NY Strip and it was served rare not medium rare. The steak was very chewy the whole way through and had close to no flavor, the hints of seasoning I did taste, tasted like burger seasoning. The waitress also didn’t do a very good job keeping the refills coming, she had noticed empty glasses and didn’t even care to ask if we needed any refills.
