Great ambiance. Good food (I recommend the wings). Always on our list of places to grab a bite and a drink when we are in town!
Spent a few days in Blue Ridge over the holiday break and decided to come for an early dinner. Read the reviews to come early since there is usually a line outside and so glad we did. Tried the sticky ribs appetizer as suggested in previous reviews and it was delicious and big enough to share as an entree which my son and I did. Also had the pretzel and wings. No complaints at all! However, I did order a cup of the tomato soup to go, and did not find it worth the $5. We will definitely come back the next time we visit.
Best food in Blue Ridge! Quality food and great service makes this our family's eatery of choice!
A great neighborhood hangout that is also very touristy friendly. Pub food done really well. The rib wing combo is a great appetizer or a great meal. Karen and Jim are excellent bartenders with knowledge and skill.
Jensen was the 5 star server we had been looking for! We travel to Blue Ridge annually and find service to be "hit or miss". We live in a popular tourist town, so we get it. Jensen smiled, took her time, had a great personality and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. If you find yourself at Chester Brunnenmeyer's, ASK FOR JENSEN!
Food was great, service is excellent. Get the sticky ribs! Great place to hang out and watch a game and have some adult or family fun time.
We stopped here for dinner. We ordered multiple appetizers. The food was ok but the wings were delicious. The only con was it took forever for our food to come out. Otherwise everything was good.
Decent food, but wait time was over 2 hours and when we finally got seated and they ended up breaking us up into two tables 4 and 4 away from each other and charged each table additional 20% gratuity (for large parties of 5 or more). Disappointed.
We had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Both items were excellent. Also had mushrooms parmigiana risotto side. Also great. The atmosphere is amazing is excellent. We sat at bar due to place being busy. Most definitely would return
