Terrible service at hostess. Was not told of different options to accommodate for my party of 8 and instead was waitlisted for hours.
Due to a rude and frustrated hostess (Em) who sat us at a table crowded in by two groups, we requested another table, Em rolled her eyes and abruptly walks away telling us she couldn't reseat us; there were plenty of other tables available. As we decided to leave, they then decided to reseat us. We got attitude again by her throwing down the menus and walking away. That attitude doesn't make for a good experience or lunch. So we left again and had a fantastic lunch at Harvest on Main.
Popped in here for lunch. June 23, 2025 @ approx. 11:30 am. In the ladies' room, my friend and I observed (aghast) a female employee - wearing a Chester's sweatshirt, leave her stall and WALK DIRECTLY OUT THE DOOR. We were thoroughly disgusted. Short gal, dirty blonde hair tied back in a loose bun. She was one of two employees greeting customers, and HANDING OUT MENUS. Gross! Needless to say, we shall never return.

Way overpriced, crappy bar food. I don't get why this place is even in business. There are many good places to eat and drink in and around Blue Ridge, Murphy, and McCaysville. I guess this place targets the tourists because locals know this place is crap.

we were here on a weekend getaway for my husband birthday. let me start off by saying I knew it was a racist place because of the looks we were getting. I wish I would have read the one star reviews before coming here for the 40th birthday. The manager is condescending and rude. I literally cried at the table with how nasty he was to me. I got the tacos and they were very bland. I ate one and half because I was feeling sick and hadn't eaten all day. This place thinks waaaay too much of itself. It looks nice enough. But $30 for average shrimp n grits. Should've had more shrimp for that price. $15.50 for a Basil Hayden's??? ( have never paid more than $12 for that) only a 1 1/2 oz pour- And hardly that. No thank you. I left here. I went down the road to.... I think it's called whiskey and water. Got an eagle rare, 2 ounce pour, for only $14. If you are in this area, please choose other options. There are much better ways to spend your money.

Let me start by saying we have been to chesters so many times before where we sat and ate in the restaurant and we have always been happy with our food! Last night the wait to get in was long so we decided to order take out and we were so disappointed with the food. The server messed up my payment and said the first one shouldn't go through so had me pay again and both were charged. $18 for small wings and no side is also outrageous.
