The host was welcoming. The wait staff was efficient and attentive. Each course was fresh, flavorful and generous. I like my hot food hot and my cold food and drinks cold. They did not disappoint. I enjoyed a delicious meal and engaging conversation with my very dear sister-friend, all set to music that set a nice backdrop that did not intrude.
This was my 3rd time dining at Chocolat. The food was even better this time. I took my family, New Yorkers now living in Maryland. They wanted to dine at the latest hot spot. It did not disappoint! The baked mac&cheese was delicious! My sister ordered an order to go. Everyone enjoyed their choices and the ambiance!

Our group of 10 family members (8 adults and two boys ages 6 & 10) was accommodated for a Sunday Brunch. Food was very good, no complaints at all. Service was good - there was a large foreign group that arrived at the same time we did; somewhat impacted our service but not enough to complain. I would definitely recommend Chocolat, and I will be returning to check out the nicely appointed bar.
The menu had something for everyone in my party of nine picky and particular eaters, including two children under 15. The crab spring rolls, short ribs, salmon with penne pasta and fried calamari salad were unanimous favorites; opinions were divided on the steak as one person commented that theirs was a bit overcooked. The first time I went, the food was great. The service was a little lacking, the second time the food wasn't as good and the food was worse.
The Chocolat Restraurant Louge was very nice, the atmosphere was so relaxing, the food and drinks where good. Our waitress was excellent and the restraurant allowed my guess to relax and worry about a thing. I had a party of ten and we were treated with kindness, respect, and smiles, by everyone.
