Over the last few days, I made numerous trips into Cleo Bay Honda for parts. While most of my experience was relatively neutral/positive, my review comes down to how the trip ended. When arriving at CBH, I was there to pick up some hubcap covers to replace the worn down covers on my civic. When going to parts and picking up the boxes, I walked over to the service counter and asked them if there was any way to have a technician pop these on for me (they are the kind of caps you must completely remove the lug nuts to put on)... read more

The service department is TERRIBLE! I've never had a good experience. I will be finding a new Honda dealer to go to in Central Texas. Apparently scheduling an appt doesn't matter. Being nice to the customers and making them feel okay leaving their car in your hands doesn't matter. And making sure your customers are happy so they come back apparently doesn't matter. We have 2 certified used Honda's and they won't be coming back here.

CLEO BAY HONDA IS A TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP First You get this in the mail that very clearly shows you win a Samsung 55 4K tv when you come in they take all your info and tell you that you will get the prize shortly and then tell you you just get a crappy generic plastic “smart watch” when the mail very clearly makes it seem like you win a larger. Not thinking I would recommend this dealership due to their poor negotiating skills and their inability to be consistent in their offers. Asked for E-price online and they came back with a decent price, then I tried to negotiate slightly lower and then they countered with an offer higher than their original E-price. I explained that the price was higher and that I was done with the negotiating and wished them luck.

My salesperson Elaine was awesome but her manager Tom was the opposite. I negotiated with Elaine and walked outside to make a call to consult with my brother. He caught me at the door and basically said I'd be too dumb to pass this deal and he wouldn't offer it to me again even if I come back begging for it. I still ended up buying the car because Elaine apologized to me the next day. If you want to buy a car here, don't deal with him and certainly don't let him walk all over you like he did me. I have to say that it seems they take advantage of women! My mother-in-law was charged $569 for a routine 30k mile check-up and of that $355 was for labor and the only had the car for 1 1/2 hours!!!!!!! My husband and I flipped out when she told us!! Who charges that for labor for 1 1/2 hours?!?!?! I must be in the wrong business. Do not recommend them to anyone. When my husband called upset they just said it was done and she authorized it.

I feel at this point I could never recommend this dealership to anyone. I will share my experience and you can decide if it is the type of dealership you want to try to work with. I purchased a 2017 Ridgeline RTL-E in November and the dealership installed window tint. It looked fine at the time I received the truck. However, a few weeks later I noticed that they had put the film over the temporary window cling for Honda Roadside Assistance and the film was beginning to pull up (bubble) around the edges of the window cling. We went here because we received the Holiday thing in the mail saying we had won something and they were doing some kind of sell with their cars. The guy said he didn't work there but was brought in to help sell cars. He was nice and helpful at first. Said they were going to pay off our car that we are previously paying on then kept going back and forth about down payments, not paying the car off and wanting us to sell the car ourselves when we told him we do not want two car payments at the moment.
