After being completely misdiagnosed & downplayed by my previous I vet I came to Coastal Cat with the desperate need to get a proper diagnosis of what was wrong with my cat. I've taken my cats here for about 6 years. I really appreciate the calm atmosphere of the office, it is beneficial for my two cats that are very shy. The staff is friendly and calm and genuinely care about my cats and my concerns. The vet listened to my concerns and gave me plans of action that made me feel confidant about next steps for my cat and what to watch out for.
We're still so happy and thankful to have Coastal Cat Clinic as our home base for our kitties. The front desk staff is so kind every time I call with a question or to try to make an emergency appointment. Dr. Glahn has been with us every step of the way trying to figure out a diet plan for both our kitties and a diagnosis for our kitty Garbo this year. Dr. Glahn has an excellent manner with cats and people alike. She takes her time with each pet and owner and shares her concerns treatment plans and options carefully. Costs are discussed prior to any treatments as well. The office staff is very friendly and competent. I completely trust Coastal Cat Clinic with my cats.
Wouldn't think about bringing our cat Valiant to any other Vet. Dr. Glahn was patient and understanding with all the questions we had. Our cat had an eye infection and Dr. Glahn prescribed medicine that fixed it immediately. Then he had diarrhea and Dr. Glahn changed his diet which fixed it! It really matters that they are a "cat only" clinic because the expertise is something you won't get anywhere else. I am so pleased to have found this place! My cat Sasha can be rather shy, especially during car rides and visits to vet the vet. Having a cat-only facility is great and Sasha actually seemed more curious in the exam room than scared (usually she just hides and trembles under a towel)! Dr. Glahn is clearly working for the best interest of the animals and spent a lot of time getting to know Sasha's history. These guys are cat experts! Pets have been in our household for a long time. We have the utmost gratitude and confidence in Dr. Glahn and her staff. Thank you for taking care of George and Maxie for so many years! Sadly, both cats passed away this year.
