I love this place. I used to go to Linda Mar and my cats were skittish due to the dogs and the multi-animal smells. Now that I bring my 3 cats to CC, they are much calmer. Kyley loves to play 'pawsy' with the resident cat under the door. They all love cats there and are gentle and kind. My cats are happy and I'm happy. I even chose to have my vaccinations and other procedures done there at extra cost as it was so much easier on the kitties.

I love this place. I take my girls here whenever they need a check up or have aches and pains. I use to take Keiko and Stinky somewhere else, but felt like they were always stressed out from other animals being around. Especially dogs, I would freak out if some huge animal came over and wanted to sniff me, bark at me, or want to attack me. And to me, it's totally worth the 15-20 min drive I make to go here. I have to say, this place is amazing! Everyone who works here are super sweet and fantastic. They really know what they are doing and try to make it work with their patients (the cats ). My fat cat Oliver had a urinary bladder infection. I went to Banfield and they were going to charge me over $1200 to treat him. I went to Coastal Cat Clinic and they charged me around $400. Now that is a BIG difference. They are not about unnecessary treatment and digging at you for your money. They want to help you, help your little one. ... read more

We recently changed from a vet in the city (who we also liked) and this place is the, um, err, cat's meow!! They are taking excellent care of our senior citizen kitty (20 years young!). It is notable how caring they are for cats - you really do not feel like just another client. Since we have an older cat she has myriad issues and they take as much time as needed explaining all our options. This is a very personable place and we couldnt be happier with the care.

I drive all the way from San Francisco to bring my Bengal cat, Zion, here because I want him to have the very best vets looking after him. This should tell you how highly I think of Coastal Cat Clinic. I am the parent of a cat that, while only 3 years old, has suffered from many medical conditions. The visit that stands out to me the most is when I took Zion in for persistent vomiting. I came in with my 11 year old diabetic cat who was pulling out her hair. Dr. Craig was so sweet to her, humming and singing to her. I love knowing she's being taken care of in a clinic that is just for cats. Dr. Craig isn't about extra and needless tests. She was honest and very helpful. The staff was all very sweet and nice and polite. I never felt rushed which is important to be able to ask questions. And they have science diet rx food which is a huge plus. This clinic represents the way all clinics should be run: with compassion and genuine caring. Dr. Craig is a rare vet these days. Honest, professional and real in a way that two other clinics that we'd gone to are not. We had to sadly euthanize our sweet cat today and this extraordinarily hard decision could not have been handled, by Dr. Craig, with more care. Very polite and considerate. The doctor was knowlegeable and helpful. They only deal with cats here, so that was nice; to not deal with hyper, barking dogs. Made Phoebe relax. Hope not to have to see them much in the coming years, but I know it'll be a good thing to come here if I need to.

Nancy Craig has now shepherded two of our cats through the end of their lives. I cannot say enough about her skill, professionalism, and caring. We used to go to Linda Mar, CCC's sister clinic, but were happy to switch when CCC opened up, as we like the quieter setting. We've never been sorry. This may give you an idea of the caliber of care.
