Coit came today and we were very disappointed. Even though wood floor cleaning was listed on their web site, the tech said Coit does not do wood floors because no one had been trained to do wood floors. Only one person was sent to the job so we had to help move furniture. The shower tile was cleaned however the fixtures are now badly tarnished and now we need to try to figure how to restore the fixture's finish, The tech wanted to clean the area rugs on site. We hired Coit to clean entire home - carpet (4 yrs old) and tile. $900 would buy us a team here of their best for an entire day with the grout being hand scrubbed with hard brush. Well, 1 person showed up until we called and a new hire was sent a few hours later - no brush scrubbing on the grout - they left mid afternoon - and after all dried carpets still not clean - they were t THAT dirty to start with only 2 adults living here. Have used Coit in the past with satisfactory results...they may know carpet cleaning but never take your Chinese hooked area rugs to be cleaned...mine came back very unsatisfactory, They do not clean them properly.....using a carpet cleaning machine is damiging and does not clean them....came back dingy and soiled looking. My fault for not being clear on their cleaning methods. Very friendly and offered to reclean which I declined due to their cleaning methods. Sent me a gift certificate . I called Coit because for some reason I thought they were the best. I think they may be the most expensive but I don't think my carpet is any cleaner than it was with the company I used last time. I'd check around for prices before hiring Coit.

Coit hasn't actually cleaned my area rugs. After the experience with their people picking up the rugs today I decided I to request that they return them uncleaned. The woman I talked to when I first scheduled was very nice. I asked her what I should do to prepare. She said that their "professionals" would take care of everything. I mentioned that there was quite a bit of dog hair on one of the carpets and asked if I should vacuum before they came. She said it wasn't necessary. I asked if I needed to move furniture. The WORST service I have received in a long time. I had a 2 hour window that turned into a ALL DAY WAIT. In my opinion they are not professional at all. I will NEVER use this COIT again.

Four days later, I felt I had to update this. It took WAY longer for the carpet to dry. Nine hours after he was done[ he said tops 3-6hrs ], it still had wet spots. With company here it was pretty hard to stay off of it. I felt like a commando, barking out " take off your shoes!" to everyone. So that was an upfront falsehood. A day after the cleaning and with it pretty dry by now, John noticed some areas just weren't that clean looking. Being an off white color, any discoloration is easy to spot.
