We paid nearly $500 to have the carpets cleaned in an empty house with good condition carpet with no stains except for a nickel-sized stain the technician said would "be no problem to get out." I wasn't around when he finished the job and when I returned the next day the stain remained. My husband said the worker said nothing to him about not being able to remove the stain. Watch for a bait and switch with the pricing. The phone quote wasn't even close what was given to us at the time of the service. It was approximately three times what was originally quoted. I spoke with the manager who wasn't helpful whatsoever. I was very clear about what was needed at the time of the phone quote. Now for the bright light in the story... the technician was really good. My sister and I have been prepping a family home to be put on the market and hired Coit to clean the carpets. The technician was left to clean the carpets while I was at work. He severely damaged a wall in the home and left the premise with the front door and garage left open. We recently had Coit out to our home to powerwash the concrete patio and drive, dryer vents and furniture. The examiner that came out to give us a quote was friendly. However, he failed to give us a final number. The quote we were provided was short by about $600. I have documentation of the quote with no final $ amount. Had duct cleaning done. After service person left noticed small items missing. Did further checking found a valuable item was missing too. Checked public records found that service person had arrest record for theft. Called Coit and spoke to operations manager. During conversation with him asked him how service person was supposed to do cleaning. I didn't think it was possible for COIT to do that badly; it was only duct cleaning. Don't spend the extra money ... even during the 50% off sale, it was twice the cost of CenterPoint Energy. (who had done great work a few years ago) Everything went wrong, from the technician trying to oversell me and charge me more, to incomplete work, poor management and no intention on COIT's behalf to fix the situation. Keep looking. They called me for duct cleaning, made an incredible mess by moving debris around and blowing it out upstairs vents and leaving the rest in ducts. Another company had to pick up their mess. Their guarantee also is bogus. Six months of trying to get our money back, no sign of it.

Signed up online for service. Received 3 emails confirming date and service but not time. They would call day before to let me know time. 4 days before I called them to find out what prep I had to do. What I had to move. Again a confirmation of date. Day before service - no call. Day of service - no call. I called them. Service date had been changed to 4 days later without any call to me. Change would have been fine if I had been notified. Stay away from this scam outfit. Quoted $215.00 based on square footage. Parked their truck directly below balcony vacant condo and proceeded to say it would cost $350.00. 1-1/2 hours later they were on their way. Thieves! Stay clear of this crap business!
