I had coit come out and clean my ducts the week before Christmas, I had just closed on a new house. I spent 400$ and they didn't even clean all of my vents. I removed the vents 3 days later to paint and sand the floors and there is still built up residue in my vents (not just normal dust.) I have called coit and emailed them and no one has returned my call. I WILL NEVER USE COIT AGAIN AND IF YOU WANT CLEAN VENTS YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER. I work for a pediatric dentist, we are on the second floor and have meter parking. The first time one year ago we used COIT they didn't bring a portable cleaner but luckily was able to get a spot out front. They were very nice however the stains in the carpet came back up after 2 weeks. But since their customer service was so nice I decided to give them a second chance and one of our other locations even used them. I recently contacted Coit to help with Restoration work that needed to be done at my home. They not only suggested work that did not need to be done, they also overcharge the insurance company by thousands of dollars. I would NEVER use their Restoration company and I will no longer use them for carpet cleaning.

If there was an option to select no stars, we would have selected it. Incompetency beyond anything that we can imagine. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. One kind of wonders how can this business even survive! On 1st expected date of delivery of our rug, we received a call that at last minute they noticed a spot on the carpet that would require further cleaning. OK. On the 2nd date of delivery, stuck in traffic and cannot make it in time to deliver the rug. Fine. 3rd date of delivery, they show up......but with the wrong rug... read more

Just had my duct cleaned from my dryer to outside vent with Coit. Some reasons why I would not use them again... Did not clean up debris of lint and dirt on back patio that fell out of the opening. Did not vacuum up lint that remained in laundry area or on carpeting . Was quoted prices without any price list being shown on invoice . Price was very high for a simple cleaning of the small area of the duct. Charge for the hose on the dryer was very overpriced.

Serviced carpeting in Living Room and Bedroom and Tile Floor in Bathroom. 1-6-15. Arrived late. Left early. Did not stay 2 hours. No one from office ever called or even an e-mail as a follow-up to find out how things went. Paid $24 for van to park in condo parking to make it easier for them. To find out that they sometimes park on street meter parking. One of the two men was on cell phone part of the time. I am very disappointed in their pricing structure. They are the most expensive tile cleaning service in the area. I was given a per sq foot estimate on the phone then the tech came and performed the work. While the tile does look brand new the bill surprised me. He estimated sq footage at 30 sq feet more than actual and that's what he based charges on. He used his feet to measure even though my tiles are 12 inch squares. In a nutshell, COIT ruined my hardwood floors. They admitted it and told us the solution that was used was wrong for the hardwood floors. Did they fix them? No - they said their guarantee only went as far as reimbursing us for the cost that we paid them. I guess they expect us to go away and use the reimbursement to replace the entire flooring in our bedroom. The estimate to replace the ruined flooring is $4,000, their reimbursement is a pittance compared to what this debacle will cost us.

I heard of COIT through their sponsorship of and work with the Animal Welfare Association. After my cat was sick last fall/winter, and I ended up with urine stains all over my couches, I finally got around to calling COIT to clean them, since my multiple attempts to get the smell out were obviously failing. When I called, the receptionist was extremely friendly and offered me an appointment for an estimate and (if I agreed with the estimate) to have the work done within a day or two.
