I brought my dog into coldwater I told them he couldn't step down on his back leg. They took him to the back and said they couldn't find anything wrong with his leg. I took him home and he yelped every time he stepped down on it he would yelp and cry. I called and said my dog is in so much pain they said to bring him in so I did again. I brought him in and she said she still can't find anything wrong, she gave some pain medicine I went home gave it to my dog it did for him . This place is not good. I feel as if they do not care about your pets. All they are interested in is your money and not the well being of your pets. My dog was left to suffer with no help available to her . Several times I called this place and no help was available to me. They are not compassionate nor are they sympathetic to how you or your pet feel. At the end of the day you will be paying out for crappy service please if you love your pet keep them away from this place

I've been taking my pet here for eleven years. Today I had an appointment that I was told on the phone when I booked it that it was for 9:30. I show up five minutes early and call the receptionist. She informs me that my appointment was for 8:30 and they couldn't see me anymore. I said I've been coming to Coldwater for eleven years and drove 40 minutes from Macedon to get my dogs ears checked out for a possible infection and I was told again they wouldn't see me and I could call back to reschedule. My cat was diabetic and received insulin injections twice a day. There was a point when the Prozinc insulin was in short supply nationally, and the price shot up from $125/vial to almost $200. I bit the bullet and paid what I had to pay because it was keeping my fur baby alive. Fast forward a few months, and Prozinc is now readily available on the market, everywhere, and back down to pre-shortage prices. Except at Coldwater Animal Hospital. They were still charging $200. The staff was very nice but I'm quite disappointed with the service. My girlfriend and I were looking for a new vet for our cat and settled on them for various reasons but since going have not been happy with them. Our first visit I asked them to make sure they e-mailed us the paperwork from the visit so we could have it for our own records and they never did. But the real clincher for not going back was when we made an apt for getting our cat spayed they promised to send us an estimate of the cost. They never did. We... read more
