We were really hoping for an outstanding experience but it was disappointing at best. Service was slow and scant. Drinks took a long time and one order was never served. Food was lukewarm. Great environment and it could be fun for a game but at least on a Thursday night it missed.
Really loud in there, big ceilings-cool decor, but the food was MEH at best / very overpriced. Sides were not cooked well (carrots not cooked through; broccoli char - not a good flavor)
Great atmosphere and ambiance. It was really busy because of Big Ten weekend.
The service was top-tier… the ambience was amazing. However the food was definitely not worth them prices that they be charging. Smh
Not a great experience. Service was ok but food was very disappointing.
We were looking forward to going to Commission Row, as we had out of town company and wanted to take her to somewhere special. Unfortunately we were disappointed and wondered perhaps if it was just an off night. To start, Valet parking was $35 which seemed very high, especially if you’re dining in the restaurant. Sad that the French onion macaroni and cheese no longer has the French onion flavor. It’s still a solid macaroni and cheese but it was the dish I couldn’t stop thinking about from the previous visit.
One rub in our great experience. This is my third visit to CR. 4 of the 6 in our party arrived at 740 for a 745 reservation. One attendant at the hostess desk. She took a call and for almost 10 minutes went back and forth about a birthday party plan with someone on the phone. No acknowledgement of us - no, can you hold to the caller. No ask for support from another co worker to seat the people directly in front of her. In the meantime others came in and just by passed her to go find their people.
