The most stressful part of my divorce has been dealing with this firm. Avoid them at all cost. Thousands wasted with nothing to show. Do yourself a favor and do your research and shop around before you sign anything with them. I wish I could give less than one star. Wishing I never contacted them in the first place.

My son hired this law firm who took close to $20,000 and only damaged his case. Don't hire!
I would never recommend Sanderson Patton as a Divorce Attorney and based on what he provided for me, which is nothing, I would not use him for any other facet of law. In fact there were things that I needed to provide guidance to him on. Anyway, their firm does nothing more than push papers and charge you exorbitant fees. They have NO proactive strategy and they operate with horse blinkers on and are apparently being driven by their jockey Mr. Greedy.
After months of emails and thousands paid without any results, I stopped using. Not recommended.
God awful. Why would Matthew talk over me? Ignore my input my information, for what made sense to him, especially when it works against me? I literally told him "l dont want to lie to the judge" to which he replied, "its not lying, its using different numbers" REALLY?! Why would he explain that the judge can rule however they see fit, for 15 mins? why would Matthew lie about my paperwork l sent him? I have the original copy. It has taken me 5 years to address my REAL experience with Cordel & Cordel. My first review i felt pressured by the firm to provide because after the case, their account department wanted the final payment and the marketing department wanted the reviews...After my own personal experience and reading several reviews , this law firm appears to prioritize their own financial interests over their client's well-being. Aside from marrying my ex wife, hiring Cordell and Cordell is a close 2nd in terms of BIG mistakes. Not only were the charges over the top, but the communication between my self and my attorney was never productive. A lot of "Well, what do you think we should do" or "I am not sure about that" type of back and forth. The San Diego office is a quick way to go bankrupt. A divorce with no assets and one minor child and it took over two years. Main attorney went in maternity leave but don't worry they will give you two in her place and charge you to give all the information to them. Don't even try to get on the phone with billing to get answers. You won't miss a payment because they will take whatever amount they feel like out of your account. would never recommend
This company is money hungry do not trust any of them! I spent over $15,000 in a divorce case that they were supposed to help out in but only made it worse! They do things behind your back and then tell you later that you didn't comply. While in litigation with them, I lost my rights as a mom, got my drivers license, suspended, and I'm now getting ready to be thrown in jail, because of the lack and attention, that CORDELL and CORDELL and their attorneys failed to provide to me And my children .
