After over a decade of traveling up and down I-5 my family had still never been to a BBD, even despite my mom’s love of black bears and the BBD commercials on TV My grandma, girlfriend and I impulsively chose to finally go to the Newburg location on December 17th of 2018. we have always enjoyed Black Bear Diner. Service is great, food is good. Imagine my surprise when visiting your Henderson location that they were out of mashed potatoes at the beginning of dinner. I opted for a baled potato instead. My dinner was served without a baled potato. Only meatloaf and green beans on my plate. I was told the potatoes would be ready soon. My potato came about 10 mins later. When we said something to the waiter he immediately blamedt "the day shift", claiming "there"s nothing he can do about it". I kn... read more
