In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The staff are fantastic and super nice. I went for my birthday and our waitress was so nice with my kids. I even got a sundae. The food is huge and so yummy. I recommend the pies they are delicious.

Amazing food and service. There is so much to choose from. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served all day everyday. If you go to the Quail springs location, ask for Justin. I promise, you will not be disappointed and you will leave three with a full belly, food to take home and a smile on your face.

the coffee is awesome, the food salamon, potroast,mashed potatoes and brown gravy, salad was good the cornbread muffiins fresh and good the fries were even good. the waiter ask for Tyreese he's very efficient, nice and polite. The tea is even good

oh my goodness. we just saw your sign in St. Charles, Missouri. my husband is so stoked. He grew up in California and has so many wonderful memories of Black Bear diner. now we will have one closer to home. we will be there most definitely.
