In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Everything I've had there has been great. The pancakes are huge. So if ur really hungry this is the place to go. Biscuits are big and fluffy. Country gravy is on point. Only thing I'm sad about is I didnt get back in time to get my free bear claw.

3.5 out 5 Great breakfast, came up short on the coffee, need real cream not hydrogenated coconut oil and corn syrup for whitener. Coffee is a big part of enjoying breakfast.

very good place home cooked foods big menu all kinds of food breakfast lunch and dinner some Mexican food in there and salads soups sandwiches great the menu makes you drool before you even eat!
