Went at 7:45 on a Friday night for the all you could eat fish dinner, hush puppies were raw inside twice and fish was overcooked, gal working register asked if we were done eating at 8:30 had they close at 9:00, told her we had been waiting on more fish too which she replied that she instructed the cooks to shut down and there would be no more food!! I would like to give my honest feed back at the Hayward branch. Service is very good. My comment is more on the kitchen side. I ordered the new york steak meal. Caesar salad was not done properly, the salad is not well coated with sauce! i ordered steak which was supposedly medium, they gave me well done! I sent it back to the kitchen to get medium cooked one, received it well done again! I was so disappointed i just didn’t complain again. I went to Black Bear Diner. Yuma, AZ location. The manager served my food to another table. The waitress returned in to the kitchen. The kitchen staff pretended to take it back, waited maybe two minutes then sat it back under the warmers to be served. The manager brought the plate to my table. 🙃 when I asked about the situation, she pretended she didn’t know what the cooks did and went to check. I'm gonna say your employees in the kitchen must be trying to put you out of business. picking his nose and eating while cooking. tons of salt on the fries, hash browns were hard as glass, EVERYTHING had tons of grease dripping pancakes were raw. we left did not eat at all. there's no way this food was not made like this on purpose. I can't believe you're in business. health department needs to get yall.
I give no stars and a thumbs down to this establishment. can't rate the food as we never got it! To add to the frustrations no one really could have cared less! Whole experience tonight was insulting.

Ordered a cob salad tonight with no blue cheese - they brought it out with blue cheese on it - they took it back and scrapped the blue cheese off and brought it back out. It took my sister 10 minutes to try and remove the blue cheese by hand- ended up not eating the salad. Not good- she ordered it with no blue cheese. All 5 of us at the table - heard her say no blue cheese. I even took pictures of the blue cheese she removed and put on a napkin.

Food was mediocre at best, and still waited over an hour for it to get to us. Manager finally came over apologized and played the time limit off. We live in another state away from Black Bear dinner and he gave us a coupon to come back for free dessert! Even if we lived here we won't be back!

It took 40 minutes for them to mess up my order. They sold the pie I had paid for to someone else. I asked for a refund and the manager on shift did not know how to do it. Oh but she tried and charged me again. She never apologized. She did apologize to other customers because I was angry at her. Sorry but that was the worst meatloaf I ever ever had. Find some seasoning somewhere and make real meatloaf. The bean soup had all the right ingredients and almost no flavor. it is definitely hit or miss here. Service was great though.
