In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Excellence in service, food choice, and taste! I’ve never come and not been thoroughly satisfied! In fact, I never was really a breakfast fan until I experienced Black Bear Diner! Kudos to Ernest and the crew.

It was awesome 2 or 3 waitresses waited on us first time coming and our main waitress Liz was great I was impressed now the food was on another level I had beef brisket eggs grits toast and the sweet cream pancakes 🥞 kids had pizza and fries the teenager had a salad my wife had steak 🥩 all in all a wonderful experience. I don’t give stars I give 5 golden shovels 🤗I truly recommend this place I live in Chattanooga at the moment but when I move to mayflower soon I will be in there if anything just for the coffee.
