In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Ok, the waitstaff are wonder the Manager was awesome, however the cooks need more training . I had the biggest burger they have there,when I the burger arrived waitstaff and manger stood by to make sure thing were good. Nope! the burger was dry and I mean Sahara desert dry . 2 meat patties I soaked in A1 sauce still dry. anyways, manager was really cool and gave me a wonderful pie. thank you. normally I would be pissed and vow not to go back, I love my burgers when made right, but because of the staff and how wonderful they ... read more

Ate this to go for the first time. It was great other than I didn’t get all of my order with me. They forgot my side and I had already left. Food was amazing.
