RecommendedThis was my first time at Black Bear Diner. It just recently opened up in Independence. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. I ordered the Bear's Choice breakfast with a sweet cream waffle. Fluffiest waffle I'm ever had. It was delicious! The portions were perfect for me. The coffee was hot and fresh. Overall, a very pleasant experience, so I'll definitely be back!

RecommendedGreat service, good portions and it was tasty. I looked them up a bit while we were waiting for our food and they are very altruistic about the area they source their coffee located in Nicaragua. That includes making sure they have clean water, school supplies and buying from women growers when possible.
