We did not have the best experience with Pacifica. I told them in the beginning this was a new experience for my wife and I and she was emotional. It was the very first place I visited and I needed some place quick. I toured and talked with them and it sounded like it would be a good fit and that it was a secure facility. Within a few days, they called and said that I had to relocate her because she was escaping their fencing. They also told me while I was looking I had to hire 24/7 hour care. Calling to speak to my husband has been challenging. Sometimes no one answers the phone and it goes to voice-mail. Leaving a message for someone may takes several days before getting back to me. Sometimes I am told by receptionist to call back when no one picks up in my loved ones cottage. I feel they are understaffed and there has been turnover from nurses and caretakers.
