RecommendedCouch potato came out this morning to install carpet in our master bedroom and bath. Three guys came out and we’re right on time and also called before they got here. Milton was the lead installer. All three guys were very courteous and hard workers. They all knew exactly what to do with very little talking among them. Installed flooring in my kitchen in 2021 and had problems with the flooring in the first year.. They had to come out and replace several pieces only for the same thing to happen again. Recently contacted them about the flooring came out and looked at the flooring sent me a proposal for the cost of having the flooring repaired. Paid to have the flooring repaired sent the flooring installer out and he walked into my kitchen and said I didn’t install this flooring and I’m not fixing it. Very disappointed. We were there today at the hummelstown location. They had a nice selection of carpeting. We were the only customers there at the time. I haven’t purchased carpet in 20 plus years. The sales rep just kept going back to her desk. And when we had questions or wanted to know prices we had to go get her. She was apparently more of an order taker than a sales rep. If anyone is looking to get work done on their house I recommend going with anyone but The Home Depot. I know it’s not directly their fault but the people they contract though but they basically stole $300 from us. We had someone come out to do measurements and an estimate done. Well we scheduled an appointment to have them come out to do the floors, the first guy came out and told us we had to also replace our subfloors. Fine cool whatever.
