I had to resort to app ordering for my local Cracker Barrel to get my orders at least 60% correct. The recent 'update' turned looking through the menu into a nightmare. Also I can no longer place my order through the app because it gives me an error. I've used the app weekly for about 5 months with no app issues, did the update and haven't been able to use it the past 3 weeks. I'm leaving this review because I am uninstalling this app. No more of my business will go to Cracker Barrel now.
I used to really like the app and it worked great. Very helpful for me to order food and bring home for my grandfather. But, after this last update it is all screwed up. Hard to use and it wouldn't accept any of my credit or debit cards. They are the same cards I have always used.
The last update made this app very difficult to use. The screen goes white and you have to start over. It doesn't save information. Please fix!!
Horrible now. Used to be ok. Navigation is HORRIBLE. Slow to respond so you don't know where you are in your ordering.

Not easy to use. I like the old app way better!
Worst restaurant app I've ever used, strictly because of the "estimated" wait time when getting on the wait list. Restaurants using apps to get on the wait list is a great feature, but not when they quote you 10-15 minutes and your actual wait when you arrive is over 90 minutes. This has happened THREE times now. I'd visit CB more, but this app's wait time quotes sucks.
I downloaded the app while waiting in a long line to pay at the register. I was trying to pay in the app, and was next in line for the register, so I took myself out of the line. After entering my info, I selected to make my payment and the APP CRASHED!! I tried again, same result. I tried a THIRD TIME, crashed again!! Got back into a now LONGER line and had to wait twice as long to pay! COULD BE super convenient. Uninstalling.
Difficult to use. It initially refused to let me order breakfast a la carte for my mom until I ordered a dinner for myself, but gave me a BS about the items not being offered. Then it wouldn't let me choose curbside the first three attempts. Nor on any of my attempts would it let me schedule for a 4:00 pickup forcing me to pull to the side of the road to complete order instead of ordering from home 30 min away. And it never would let me use my gift card to pay.
