What happened to being kind to your fellow man? I guess theses guys are like our government help only those that are rich or not citizens of this country. I will never eat here again. They should have given this guy a pat on the back and a raise, it would have been much better press than this.
Editorial review from Citysearch My family and I erroneously chose to have dinner here last night. We were in and out in a little over an hour, would have been quicker had the waitress not been depending on other people to handle our drinks and bill. Mediocre breakfast served in 30 minutes I used to love going to a Cracker Barrel for breakfast - or lunch or dinner. The stores always have so much to look at and I usually did more than look. And the meals were consistently delicious. But unfortunately this was not the case. Our server took our breakfast order - and then finally after 20 MINUTES - came...
Good Food. Yes, it was a little crazy during the morning rush but the food was great! I had the French toast and it may have been one of the best I have ever had. The portions were so large, next time I will split a main dish with someone and maybe order an extra side.
Gay does not equate with Happy here if you are gay....don't go. I have never met such a group of homophobes. I didn't finish my meal only because of the discomfort. Plus, the heavy food is priced higher than your local Luby's.
Can get very busy, especially during the breakfast rush. I feel like I'm packed into the dining area like cattle. It's so loud I can't hold a conversation. Portions are large but food is average at best.
The new Stuckey's. If you like kitschy ole rustic country type restaurants just like the old Stuckey's on IH 35, you will love this place with all the country jams, jellies candies and knick-knacky paraphenalia as you walk in the door past the row of rocking chairs on the veranda. It's a pretty good size gift shop where you can browse the wares until you are called for a table.
I love this place! First time here. Service was good, but they were really busy. Food came out about 5-7 minutes after ordering. got the Chicken and Dumplin's. Taste almost as good as my grandma's. Definitely will be coming back!
