Favorite classic Down home feel with down home food. Always the perfect place for breakfast get togethers. Clean and perfect location to other areas in town.
Great restaurant and gift shop We chanced along this restaurant and gift shop, and were very pleased with the food and gifts. Spent more than we should have.
Good But Not Great We swung into the CB on our way back out to Boerne after a day in SA for an early dinner. It was good....but not Cracker Barrel great. Our girls had fun as they always do at places like this so that's a plus. The only real food complaint I have is that we ordered our scrambled eggs "well cooked"...
Nothing Special I had not been to Cracker Barrel in a number of years and decided to dine there during my visit to the area. The food was ok, nothing special. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
country tyme meals we visited here to eat a great country meal.the food was not all that good. it was alright i guess. the country store was ok for purchasing items but i will definitely not be eating there for quite a while
Every time good We ate here twice in one week, coming and going. Wanted good comfort food and not so frilly atmosphere. You know the drill. Good as always. Great service. Kind of a trick to get to, but we finally made it in.
Knick Knacky If you like kitschy ole rustic country type restaurants just like the old Stuckey's on IH 35, you will love this place with all the country jams, jellies candies and knick-knacky paraphenalia as you walk in the door past the veranda rocking chairs. It's a pretty good size gift shop where you can browse the wares until you are called...
It's ok My family LOVES this place. I don't really know what the big deal is. The price are average-high. The food is average. It get's crowded. The customer service is very good. I'm in no hurry to go back.
Good Biscuits and Apple Butter I have always enjoyed Cracker Barrel and would make it a treat when I work late and get off early in the mornings. I would stop for a hearty breakfast...biscuits are tender, fluffy and hot. I would always ask for the homemaded apple butter, delicious. I also like their potato casserole.
