We arrived here Thanksgiving night after my family met up with me. The place was busy but we did not have to wait very long for a table. The turkey dinner was very good, the server was very nice and the staff was polite. we didn't have any problems with the food or the service.
Upon ordering I clearly stated my name, spelled it and then placed my to go order. Well thank god I did, it was packed which is just an example of how good the food is. Stated my name, couldn't find my order. Asst Mgr went back and it was listed under ROBINSON, NOT ROBBINS. THIS MUST BE A SOUTHERN THING...
Met up with friends at Cracker Barrel while visiting Greenville. The food was good and our server made us feel welcome and never made us feel that we were taking too long to sit and talk.
This was a great experience. The food portions are great and the service is overall good. Any issue that came up, our waitress quickly resolved it.
I had the chicken and dumplings platter. Yum! Sides were turnip greens, pinto beans and corn muffins. The broth with the chicken and dumplings was flavorful. Greens were to die for. Mmmm. I've been missing southern cooking. Ask for Elsie to be your server. She's the best!
We love the Cracker Barrel Restaurants. This particular one was quite exceptional! Great service, very friendly server, and delicious food! The staff in the store where you pay your bill have a great attitude, sense of humor, and aim to please! We will be back for sure!
Good country style cooking This is a very good restaurant to eat country style cooking when you are in the mood for that type of meal. You can order breakfast anytime during the day or evening. Our favorite place for reliably wonderful food Granted this is not a downtown restaurant but its not supposed to be. We go for Sunday brunch or Wed lunch or Thursday dinner just because we love their food- always consistently good, always consistently low priced. Ournfavorites are the blueberry pancakes, chicken fried steak and orchard salad. Can't go wrong.
Breakfast Visit Everything is high in fat if you like that sort of thing. Food not hot and with breakfast, eggs were not cooked to order.
