RecommendedDr. Leyendecker and her staff are excellent! Dr. Leyendecker is compassionate and very knowledgeable. She is always willing to answer any question or address any concern you may have and will take all the necessary time with your pet and it’s owner. Her office hours are excellent and she is the only vet that will wait for you after hours (for a small additional fee), which here in Laredo is extremely rare in the veterinarian field. Highly recommend her, she’s the best!

I wanted to take the time to write this review based on my personal experiences with Critter Care Veterinary Clinic. As a long-time client and former employee, I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment. I was employed for 7 years while I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Dr. Wilmoth and Dr. Leyendecker are awesome and take excellent care of our babies. We highly recommend their practice.
My dog was dying . I was to emotional to remember the drs. Name , but she did a great job explaining and taking care of my dog wich was mauled by two others after he escaped from my house. Definitely recommend them and their staff . He’s not out off the woods yet. But I’m glad they open late and we’re willing to wait for me. Otherwise my dog would not have a chance. My original vet closes early and is not open on Wednesday.
My best friend, Tequila, passed away recently. Critter care did an amazing job accommodating to my baby’s needs. A couple days after his passing, I received a lovely card from Critter Care. This is exactly what 5 star service is all about. Thank you for helping me in this healing process.
Today was the hardest day I ever had to deal with my pet. I called Laredo Animal Clinic because they had an earlier opening time to get an emergency walk in for my dog who had suffered from several seizures last night and was refused service due to needing an appointment.
