Great alternative if you have a problem with opiates, however the price to dose has been raised 3 times in the 4 years I’ve been in the program. The staff are great! Always friendly and accommodating, however the conflicting scheduling of sessions, drug screenings and such make it impossible to get in and out. Even though Crossroads opening at 0500 still doesn’t guarantee that you can be out by 0600 for work. So the hours could be changed a bit to be more helpful. Everything about this company & program is amazing! I absolutely adore ALL the workers at the Shelby, North Carolina establishment! They are super friendly & play a huge role in my recovery!
It was a very easy admission process. You must be there AT 5am & be ready to be there for up to 5 hours —- but within those hours you are another step closer to a new life of Healthiness ! Methadone works, the staff is very courteous and helpful. The only problem is, it is very hard to get off of Methadone and it’s to expensive. Up north it’s free. Everything else is good.

Everything was quick and smooth as always.
Dosing has been much better now since the pharmacy has more employees and that has improved the wait time there. The new security officer is a plus now because it’s helps with the crowd control a lot now.

Now that the engage app is in place it’s much better. The Myrtle beach location still uses the old hand pump method so the line takes forever. At least with the app one can wait in the car until time to dose. The only problem is that we are still required to be in by 11. The whole point is to be able to stay away from the crowd, it works until 11 when we all have to be inside the building regardless of how many people in line, which defeats the whole purpose.
