I have wanted to try Culpepper since moving to the Rockwall area in 2009 but then we moved. Now that we are back I decided that the day before Valentine's Day would be a great time. Then I saw the reviews... and was turned off. So glad I didn't let a few harsh critics stop me from going. The ambiance is very Texas-y which I LOVE! Love the nostalgia of Culpeppers. New ownership trying to merge gen 1 & 2 into a new gen 3 concept. Missing the mark, you can have "prime" steak and Mexican food all at prime steakhouse prices.
Culpepper has a great atmosphere and cool vibe inside and outside of the restaurant. The service was a great with waiter and a manager stopping by to ask if everything was ok. The food was very appetizing appearance wise and uber-delicious. Fabulous restaurant experience overall!! We will definitely be back again soon!
I love the ambience of Culpepper, whether it be for brunch or dinner, it is always spot on! Service is always great and anything I've ever ordered off the menu has been excellent. Definitely one of my go to restaurants!
Amazing service, I love the venue as well, it's quite magnificent. Don't even get me started on the food, it's the best steak I've ever had, would highly recommend trying this place out!

While in town from San Diego, we discovered Culpepper Cattle Company. I was craving authentic Texas Mexican food, while my boyfriend had his heart set on a high-quality steak. The fusion of Mexican and steak options made this stop an easy choice. I had the sour cream enchiladas, and my boyfriend got the C.A.B filet--both dishes exceeded our expectations.
