Visited Culpepper Steak House tonight (Sat, May 16) with family. They were very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance and food was great. We will definitely be returning and asking for Doug to wait on us. Great job Doug, if every restaurant had employees like you, I have no doubt customers would gladly return. Our waiter "Doug" was the best!!!

Coming out to Rockwall to try & see something different. They are very welcoming here, very friendly & so kind. I got to meet Chief Chad who was a pleasure to meet. He personally is an amazing chief & truly has an amazing craft. Brittney was an amazing host. Love her! The staff here were so attentive & nice. I highly recommend it here. Food was so amazing!!!! Great area & views. I will be back for sure!

Place is a solid 3 out of 5. Food was all good but not good enough for $139 Bill. We asked for steak medium and got it almost rare. Was expecting garlic mashed potatoes to be full of garlic flavor and they weren't at all. The waitress kept messing up what we were ordering. She would repeat back the order and it was wrong all 3 times. Bacon appetizer was pretty good, Wagyu had no flavor and ribeye was hard to cut with such dull knifes. Nothing special. You can do a lot better around Dallas. Place was empty when I had dinner there. Filet was good but no special sauces offered so a bit plain. Prices as high as the typical steakhouse and all ala cart.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner tonight with friends and everything was very good! The food was great as usual but, this time we had a server who introduced herself as "Meghan" and she was awesome! We never had to ask for a single thing like refills, and she knew the menu so well, helping my friends who had never been there before. She was just so attentive to us. If you go, ask for her table! She made the whole evening that much more special and that meant so much to me on my birthday.

Not our first time to Rockwall's best steakhouse, but definitely the most memorable. Had an engagement later in the evening so we were seated right after 5:00 pm. If you have never seen the inside, Culpepper is pure Texas. Great vibe. The food was perfect. One NY strip and one 22 IX Cowboy Ribeye. Both cooked to perfection. Delicious smoky flavor in the steak. Award-winning Cesar salad (Dallas 2010) with the lobster croutons was amazing. Excellent service. Beautiful Texas ranch decor. We'll be back!

I went to Culpepper for a work party and overall the service was great! The wait staff took great care of our big group and kept up very well with everything, the staff most definitely deserves 5 stars! The food was presented well and tasted pretty good. I know we were a big group, but I think they should inform guests how the filet mignon is cooked or ask how they would like it cooked, it was very pink, I almost thought it was raw at first.
