I don't know where to begin, but Culpepper's after new ownership is 5 star! Would give 10 stars if I could!! The service was an absolutely amazing, the food was 10/10, and they changed the setting a little. The lighting is pretty romantic with a laid back vibe. Would love to see this place thrive under new management!
Great steaks that are actually prime and not choice as before(though advertised as prime). Great swirl margaritas but quite strong. Highly recommend the al fresco bar/dining.
I think they did a great job with the remodel and new menu. This place is a staple in Rockwall and they did a fantastic job with keeping the same rustic/cabin feel with a little facelift (it feels more open, lighter inside, new spaces to sit and eat etc). We were so glad to see that there is a new menu at Culpepper's. The selections range from a Tomahawk rib eye to Tex-Mex. There is something for everyone whether a special occasion or a weekday dinner.
Went for my birthday with my husband just about a week ago and was super impressed with changes, friendly and helpful waitress! They have a new hostess stand that makes so much sense. Manager came over to greet us as well. Delightful dinner and yummy food and drinks! Best Lemon Drop martini I have had in a long time. Looking forward to see what else they do!
The service was the best I have had in Rockwall. Andrew was super friendly and pleasant. He also made some great recommendations. The firecracker shrimp, fillet, mac and cheese, and creme brûlée are all items I would order again. The creme brûlée and mac and cheese were the best I've had in town.
Food and drink- amazing. Perfectly cooked meats, I mean perfect. Matthew was a very kind and energetic server. Really enjoyed.
Loved this restaurant for many years. Came here every birthday, anniversary, mother's and father's day. Last visit was a week ago and I won't come back anymore. The price on the entre was surprisingly so much cheaper and it made sense when I tasted the food: extra salty and lower quality.
