Make sure to get other bids first. Huge BS factor, high pressure sales. We were told other roofers were 7 months out and DaBella was a month out. The roofers were here in 2 weeks. Very good. We Were told the job would be monitored by DaBella, it wasn't. We paid top dollar and expected the company would provide quality. The two roofers did speak English pretty good and were hard working. Be careful that you get everything in writing from the sales pitch or they will get away with doing much less. They tried to get me to pay an extra $1600 for skylights that were in the contract to replace! I put a nail though my foot after they left as they did not use the metal detector they promised, I found 50 more nails after an hour of scouring the front yard! When the skylights were eventually installed they were too big so they placed them over the old framing and sealed them on that way. Just crap. Hopefully the roof... read more
They promised cleanup but I had to pick up water bottles and small pieces of roofing this week. The only information that I received was they would arrive Thursday 8am, while the whole project was 80% complete that day, they did not arrive to finish it until well afternoon on Friday so they were still working late into the evening on Friday Forgot to install the new sky lights,and left all their supplies and inventory including a huge dumptruck in my driveway all weekend. Communication was lacking thru out this process. However we are satisfied with the end result.
They lied about delivery of the product
Not real happy with the way they handled the project. We thought they'd be doing the work themselves; turned out that they contracted it out.
Do use DaBella, they are 2 to 3 times what others would charge. The material and warranty is good but for the money, I would look somewhere else. They did not do a good inspection and the additional work was also very expensive. DaBella usually outsources their work and my roofers were not professional, and cause some damage to my property. DaBella does not care about customer service in my opinion, its all about the money. Try somewhere else.
The salesman that visited and evaluated the site was very friendly. I heard promises of the best roofers in the business with only prevailing wage roofers used for the installation. The bid was high but I accepted because of the quality of labor. After getting my money I was called a week later to schedule the install. Excellent customer service and follow-up on any questions or concerns. The roofers completed the job on time and left the area clean. We love how the color coordinates with the rest of the house and are very pleased with the texture of the roof itself. We chose Timberline HD - Barkwood asphalt shingles.
