I was stuck at the house with a sick toddler, a dripping faucet, non working sprayer house, and a running toilet. Running ragged, worried about my grandson with covid chances so high here in Iowa and Dalton charged me over $800 for a replacement faucet with sprayer and a toilet tank assembly piece. Unbelievable!!!! and then, while they're packing up. it becomes clear from the toilet noise that their repair hadn't worked and they had to stop packing up to fix it again. We called about getting a new switch in our gas fireplace. Technician examines fireplace and says we might need a new switch, (which was the reason for my call) and charges $87 for service call. A few minutes later I ask about actually having a switch installed and am told that would be another $73 which I declined.

I used to use Dalton but never will ever again !! The STUPID "thank you for calling Dalton ...... thank you for calling Dalton ...... thank you for calling Dalton" advertisement is the sole reason why !!!!! Just sayin !!
I think people should know that this company is way out of line with there prices. The truth is that they try there hardest too keep it top secret. They aim to get paid 385$ an hour, unless your a member you range from 285-300. How can a company justify charging sombody 900 to clean a sewer after hours when all of the competitors in town would be less than 300 and this job usually takes less than an hour with zero parts. Or 5-600 for a 100 faucet they claim to be top of the line but will not even come close.Daltons has train... read more

HORRIBLE experience with tankless water heater from the get go. Day 4 of no hot water throughout the house. Wish I did homework and remembered Young is also in the area.
