I met Dr. Salazar in December of 2023. He performed emergency surgery on both my legs. Before he performed the surgery, he said to me 'I will fix you and it is up to you and your therapist to heal you.' My therapist and I followed his physical therapy evaluate and treat-OP and it is working. I am not 100% but, I am very close. Prior to my surgery, I was doing 26-30 miles per week on the stair-master and treadmill.
As a retired APN. I can be critical of physicians. I have been in Dr Salazar care since 2021. I have found him to be knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, ..he spends time with you not rushed and explains everything thoroughly. I have had a couple of pain issues I thought that was related to my shoulder ..however turned out to be a pinched nerve. What stood out with doctor salazar is that he is very determined and honest about the entire visit, he performed my surgery on my right shoulder and always kept me up to date on my next steps of recovery. Now that I am cleared my shoulder has never felt better thanks to Doctor Salazar and his team for their commitment on me.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and outcome. 4.5 months ago I tore my labrum and rotator cuff while skiing… today I am pain free and back to functioning at 95%. Dr. Salazar and his staff take patient care to the next level, making sure that each individual is getting treated as if they were a family member. I was the patient who thought they didn’t need a repair, but looking back at it, it was the best decision I made. Thank you Dr. Salazar, really appreciate everything you have done for me!
This man understands the long term effects of serving. Was able to quickly and efficiently identify my issue with elbow and explain a plan of action. Surgery was successful and went how he said. It is much better now. Thanks Doc, you the best. Highly recommend for all Orthopedics Concerns for Vets.
I had surgery on my 2 shoulders in the last 2 years. I couldn't move my arms because of TOO much pain. After surgery, I can move them back and forth and up and down without any pain. Recovery was quick and easy with the guidance of Dr Salazar. He is a very conscientious doctor who really cares for his patients and he does not rest until he is done doing the best for his patients.
I have never met such a kind caring Doctor in my life I was nervous but he made me feel so comfortable after he spoke with me before surgery after surgery I was never in a lot of pain my scar look amazing you can barely tell I was cut all my friends wanted to know where’s his office located and wanted his name I’m a 1000 percent pleased Thank you Dr. Salazar
