I had rotator cuff surgery in December 2022. The surgery went well and I'm now 5 months post surgery and back to playing Paddle Tennis and Golf. Still working on strength but very pleased with the outcome of the surgery.

Severed left tricep. Dr Salazar prepared me for the surgery. I knew exactly what was needed and how it was to be done. On January 11, 2023, Dr. Dane Salazar performed a reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder. I am now 3 months out after this surgery and I feel great! Prior to this procedure, I was unable to function without pain in my shoulder. I came in for a shoulder issue that required surgery on my right shoulder. I was in so much pain prior to my procedure. Not only did Dr. Salazar do an unbelievable surgical job on my shoulder, he was such a gentleman and was fantastic to talk to. He was very polite, professional and explained everything perfectly to me. My shoulder feels 100 percent and i highly recommend Dr. Dane Salazar as he was unbelievable to work with.
If you're looking for the best shoulder surgeon ever, you found him! Dr. Salazar gave me my quality of life back after two failed rotator cuff surgeries with an orthopedic surgeon. I was misdiagnosed with frozen shoulder and was suffering with excrutiating pain; Dr. Salazar not only repaired my torn rotator cuff but also a torn bicep that I wasn't aware of! I will need my left one eventually done & have found the best of the best.
I first met Dr. Salazar at Loyola Burr Ridge on July 14th, 2022. I could not raise my right arm over my head. I could not reach behind my back. I had sustained an injury where I had calcium deposits in tendon and Tendiophathy of my right shoulder. He was immediately able to tell me what was wrong through the X-rays he ordered and gave me a shot that helped relieve the pain.
