Man, I was excited to try this place and it was just above average, at best. I'm a huge fan of Nashville style hot chicken sandwiches. I've had more than I can count. I have to admit I was a little skeptical coming to Dave's because chains don't really ever get it done. I was generally correct. Let's get two things out of the way. Love the convenience of Dave's Hot Chicken!! The tenders + fries are delicious, and get Dave's sauce for a delicious treat!
More of a 3.5/5, the chicken itself wasn't very flavorful to me (tasted like a mouth full of chili powder tbh) just hot. The slider was probably the best out of the tenders/fries. The house sauce (i think dave's sauce?) was pretty good w the fries as well. And the workers are super nice + the environment is super chill and there's lot of tables outside to sit at and eat.

Super friendly staff and quick service. There is seating both indoors and outdoor for groups to eat together.
The burgers were delicious, I just wish they had a bit more cole slaw! My favorite was the fries!
This place is honestly not bad. it's not amazing but it's good enough. the size of the meals are decent and the chicken taste pretty good. the best thing here is the sauce cause without the Dave's sauce I don't think any of the food would taste as good. It's good for a quick meal pickup or just trying something new cause the place really pops out when ur driving on Fairfax. only negative I would say is the overwhelming amount of middle/high schoolers that think they're cool by hanging at this place lol. i guess this place ma... read more

It's ok. Kinda pricey for what you get. Pretty sure there's a fair amount of curry in their spice which I am not a fan of. Food was well prepared and piping hot, just not my jam. 2 stips with fries, white bread and Mac and cheese and drink should not be $24
