My boyfriend loves hot stuff and that's what inspired us to go. This place did not disappoint. When entering it was great to see the women majority staff. Since it was our first time the front of house person helped us figure hot what to order. We got reaper and extra hot strips, mild slider, fries, kale slaw, and Mac and cheese. The reaper was hot, but had flavor. The slider was crunchy and flavorful even being mild. The Mac and cheese had great flavor. Overall great food and awesome that it was open late.

Original and delicious! No other chicken like it that I've found in SW Portland. Doesn't look like it would be as good as it is.

Ok... I know this is a chain that came closer to us. But man, their chicken is GOOD. Nice and crunchy on the outside, Nice and Juicy on the inside. That's how I (and my family) like our fried chicken tenders. Sure, the spice application is a bit more subjective... some people like the dry rub stuff (like dave's), some people like the stuff all in the crust friend into the chicken, and all sorts in between. In response to Julie: We tried Dave's last night, the online comp code didn't work :( asked for no pickles, bread or sauce and guess what? No joke, got a ton of all 3 plus enough honey to please Winnie the Pooh ! Rick, luckily, didn't see all the pickles because I took them off his before he could see but while he was eating said "I think they just took the pickles off" pickle juice is messy, gets everywhere and he just HATES them. Not a fan of the particular seasoning on the chicken, so I get the plain, but everything is always cooked well. I really like the Mac and cheese, fries, and kale salad.

I've now ordered here a few times since opening, and I think a 4 star rating is solid. I enjoy my food here and it's enough to keep me coming back. You definitely don't come here to eat healthy, but the food is good. I always order the tender with fries ($11), which contains two chicken tenders made to your preferred spiciness level, crinkle cut fries, white bread, and picked with Dave's sauce. Their chicken sandwiches were AMAZING! Def a lil on the spicy side so next time I think I will try mild. Make SURE to put honey on your chicken sandwich OMG it changed my life. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was the Mac n cheese. Considering how good the sandwiches were I was expecting the Mac n cheese to be out of this world but it was sadly pretty bland.

For being more of a fast food option - this place hits. Huge portion sizes in my opinion. The two slider meal can easily feed 2 people. I don't think their fries are that amazing but being able to put cheese sauce on them helps! I just wish they had a drive thru

Best hot chicken sandwich hands down (I still don't know why people even bother with Chick-Fil-Gross). When they label their spiciness levels - THEY MEAN IT. I don't consider myself a spice wimp, but somedays I just have to go with Medium. Restaurant is always clean, staff is always nice, and when you order online it's always ready and waiting for you.
