Happened to be walking by with my kids, when my son said OMG let's go in there. Let me just say I'm so happy that we did. This chicken is so addictive, crunchy, juicy. I'm hooked!

Tasty fried chicken. Simple menu, good range of spicy options. I recommend the sliders over just the tenders on white bread.

WOAH. That was the best chicken sandwich I've had in I don't know how long. The chicken was fried SO perfect. Just the right amount of batter. Super crispy and juicy. The crinkle fries were just as good. Friendly staff and quick wait times for food.

I have heard a lot of hype about this place and am very happy to report that it is worth the hype! The staff was great from the second we walked in. And the chicken was SO good! It was very spicy so I was glad the staff took the time to explain the spice levels to us! We also brought my young daughter and had an option for no spice for her, which was nice! My husband and I both got the combo platter and the portions were very generous. I think I would just go with the slider option next time because it was soooo delicious.... read more

I lived in Los Angeles for 5 years, before moving back to Colorado. During the time I lived in Los Angeles, a huge wave of popularity in Nashville hot chicken restaurants erupted. These restaurants started popping up everywhere and it was great. L.A. is where I developed my love of Nashville hot chicken (I'm planning on making a trip out to Nashville in the future, just to do a hot chicken food tour). Dave's Hot Chicken is the best chicken that I have ever had. Comes out fresh, hot, and steamy. They have a relatively hot spice spectrum, so if you really like spicy I would recommend hot. Medium is honestly still spicy so if you are unsure that or mild is a good choice. They give bread, pickles and sauce for you to make a sandwich if you so please. Definitely want to come again, awesome chicken.

Has Denver become a gold mine for hot chicken? I'm gonna say yes. Dave's is bringing the fried chicken love to South Broadway's party scene. Stone cold sober or extremely intoxicated, this chicken goes down smooth. More so than the product itself, I'm impressed with the dining room set up, late night hours and staff efficiency. Grapefruit. Quick service. Easy to pick up and exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend going here if you're in the area. This place is totally awesome!

WOW it's SPICYYYYYYLIOUS . I love Dave's chicken. Everyone are super nice at the restaurant and yes I wouldn't recommend ordering the Reaper unless you can really tolerate spicy. I'm able to eat pretty spicy myself but wow , the Reaper spice is next level. I got #2 ( 2 sliders) and did one Extra Hot and one Reaper. I waited to try the Reaper towards the very end and it was SOOOO spicy. I used up so many napkins because I had to keep blowing my nose.
