This was our first time trying Dave's and we were so excited! We drove about 20 miles just for a chicken sandwich. We placed our order which came to $19 for 1 meal and a side of macaroni and cheese. When we paid we were prompted to leave a tip. I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to be tipping for and why, or who. So I did not. If everything is that great I will give cash afterwards. Didn't have much money for lunch and wanted to get just a chicken sandwich (their chicken slider). Unfortunately they told me you can only purchase this item as a side to a bigger meal which is surprising because the slider is almost $6. Now I don't know whether they do a better chicken sandwich than other places around town, but I'd rather go to a fried chicken place where it isn't requisite to spend $12+ to be able to access any option which includes a chicken sandwich.
