I had 2 chicken strips and cheese fries on 11/23/24 around noon thirty. Bread was dry and hard. Chicken and fries were just a tiny bit on the salty side. I am a one and done based on the hard and dry bread, won't return. The bottled water was good.

poor service and my order was wrong. I ordered a number 1 with the lowest level of heat and my food extremely hot I couldn't even finish it, not to mention it was the wrong order.

This place is not worth trying it looks really good I wasted 20 dollars on this and the chciken taste really awful and I waited an hour. don't go there .

Wildly overpriced and while the taste and quality was good the prices do not reflect anything close to a value. Lots of better choices for the price including the nearby classic The Post Chicken and Beer just a few blocks further on Broadway. Excellent service and so-so ambiance. Outdoor seating is 2 tables next to the takeout window, and lots of panhandlers. Keep walking if you're on foot.

Way too much paprika used on the chicken. That's all we could taste and smell. Service was great though.

I went to get daves hot chicken today, got really hyped and I was excited to get it for months. I would go to target with my mom and older brother an pass it for 3 months and when I got it today I was extremely disappointed. The chicken is HELLA over seasoned. Couldn't even taste the chicken. And it was extremely dry as well. The only good thing in it was the fries and sauce. I got the two tenders and I will not be getting it again. Do not recommend.

At the end of July I received a Yelp message that referenced my review. It said one word only. And it said that it came from Dave's Hot Chicken. It said, "Liar." Now this is confusing to me. Who sent it? Why can't I get the Yelp app to show me who the message was from, aside from simply saying "Dave's Hot Chicken"? Why did the person say I was a liar when my photos showed that I was telling the complete truth? Got the blazing and although I can handle most of the hottest seasonings/spice blends at 9/10 restaurants my regional manager I ordered this a few weeks ago for A quick work lunch. I took one bite and couldn't taste anything, but about 20 seconds later my mouth was literally burning. Alarmed I gulped down my drink and Mac n cheese.
