I went to get daves hot chicken today, got really hyped and I was excited to get it for months. I would go to target with my mom and older brother an pass it for 3 months and when I got it today I was extremely disappointed. The chicken is HELLA over seasoned. Couldn't even taste the chicken. And it was extremely dry as well. The only good thing in it was the fries and sauce. I got the two tenders and I will not be getting it again. Do not recommend.

At the end of July I received a Yelp message that referenced my review. It said one word only. And it said that it came from Dave's Hot Chicken. It said, "Liar." Now this is confusing to me. Who sent it? Why can't I get the Yelp app to show me who the message was from, aside from simply saying "Dave's Hot Chicken"? Why did the person say I was a liar when my photos showed that I was telling the complete truth? Got the blazing and although I can handle most of the hottest seasonings/spice blends at 9/10 restaurants my regional manager I ordered this a few weeks ago for A quick work lunch. I took one bite and couldn't taste anything, but about 20 seconds later my mouth was literally burning. Alarmed I gulped down my drink and Mac n cheese. This was our first time trying Dave's and we were so excited! We drove about 20 miles just for a chicken sandwich. We placed our order which came to $19 for 1 meal and a side of macaroni and cheese. When we paid we were prompted to leave a tip. I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to be tipping for and why, or who. So I did not. If everything is that great I will give cash afterwards. Didn't have much money for lunch and wanted to get just a chicken sandwich (their chicken slider). Unfortunately they told me you can only purchase this item as a side to a bigger meal which is surprising because the slider is almost $6. Now I don't know whether they do a better chicken sandwich than other places around town, but I'd rather go to a fried chicken place where it isn't requisite to spend $12+ to be able to access any option which includes a chicken sandwich. Stopped by this place on our short trip to Denver. Food was good but as I was close to finishing up, I found a hair in my sandwich which was a very unpleasant surprise. Over all I would rate this with 3.5 stars.

Yo this shit is pretty good. Gets a lil old once you order it 40 times, but the first 39 times were amazing. Would recommend

Not paid to write this review. I thought the chicken was very mediocre. The fries were good, but I found myself enjoying those more than the tenders. Limited sauce selection, wish they had a ranch to go with the spicier tender.
