TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

With so many chicken places in the area, I was glad to try Dave's. Finally, I found a place that added just the right amount of heat and flavor to their food. From the time I placed my order to getting my food, only 7 mins passed. The staff was very friendly and asked several times if there was anything else I needed. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

1st time coming here. Nobody told me about Dave's...just saw it on the side of the street. Cashier greeted me right away, with a smile. I ordered my meal, and went outside to eat. This chicken absolutely blew me away!!!! The seasonings on the chicken is your choice...between mild and hot. I chose mild. When I took a bite of it, I swear it was the juiciest, tastiest and delicious chicken I have ever ate...and I'm 69 ys old!
