TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Been here a few times and I feel like it's been better some times over others. I've always taken the food to go so I can't say i've eaten it "fresh" but I think that's the typical experience for a place like this. It tastes pretty good and if I feel like grabbing some hot chicken instead of cooking for the night- this is a pretty good option. Was in the mood for fried chicken and this place did not disappoint! The restaurant is fairly spacious with indoor tables and chairs. They have cool fun artwork on the walls which are cute in your selfies! Ordered the sliders with fries which came with Dave's hot sauce. Medium spice level was just right for me. They offer extra Dave's hot sauce if you need some. The kids got No Spice level chicken sliders and they enjoyed it. Topped it off with Oreo milkshakes and we left happy! Service was great too!

I ordered from the Dave's hot chicken app and picked up my order. It was a quick pick up and the service was good. I got the two chicken sliders, 1 hot and 1 medium with fries and a side of Mac and cheese. The hot one was HOT. Definitely too hot for me and I love spicy food. The medium one was the perfect amount of heat and flavor. The fries were well seasoned and delicious. The Mac and cheese was creamy. Overall the food was solid but beware the spice levels!
