TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Visiting for the second time at this location and we appreciate the guy on duty, LUIS, for giving an excellent customer service!!! He explains how the order works perfectly. I can tell that he's really good at the job. The food is great and one of the best fries we had. Pro tip, order the cheese on the side and dip the fries on it! I'll say it again, LUIS is the man!!

Luis at this location gave some of the best service I have ever experienced. He was attentive, friendly, and super informative as it was our first time going to a Dave's Hot Chicken. The food was delicious, the restaurant is clean, and Luis' excellent customer service will definitely have us coming back again.

I admit at first I was hesitant to try it and actually believe I would enjoy it. I will say the quality of chicken is great then the bread is a nice combo with it. What's nice is you can control how hot you make it or not hot. The fries are slightly above average and the sauce they use is fine- most people enjoy it- it's a little much for me. But again the point of going to a place like this is for all the fixings. Chic Fil a is my number 1 still but this is top 3 for sure. If you're a chicken sandwich fan it's a nic... read more
